Description
Now a recurring favorite, the PennNYC Community Service team is hosting a Start of Summer Meals on Heels volunteer event, during which we will be hand-delivering nutritious meals to homebound senior citizens.
[NOTE: This does NOT involve high heels; comfortable walking shoes only, please!]
We will meet at the Carter Burden Center at 351 East 74th Street at 10am and the volunteering portion of the event will be completed by noon.
Afterwards, we encourage participants to join us for brunch in the neighborhood in order to meet and mingle with fellow Quakers.
